"21st
Century Chaos was a massive leap for the band in terms
of both production, musicianship and song writing.
I'd learned to play the drums to a lot higher standard
which meant the whole band could now push that bit
harder. With the DIB E.P. we just wanted to play
music in the style...well basically rip off Slayer and
Hatebreed for our own amusement, this time we were
serious and added a lot more of ourselves into the
music". |

"This time
we had a half decent production to work with, Dave knew
his way around the desk which helped a lot. We
still nailed the lot in 10 hours but this time no
mistakes left in. We also had some better
equipment at our disposal so we could get better sounds
from the off. I was a lot more confident with my
vocals this time as I realised I could actually do the
whole lead singer thing". |

"I remember
the studio being very relaxed during the recording
process, I remember a lot of weed being smoked....yeah
that helped. We got quite a few very good reviews
for 21st Century Chaos, topped off by winning the
Sunderland Music Awards Best Metal Act". |

"This was my
first recording with Death In Blood, I had joined the
band 2 weeks after the recording of the DIB E.P. I
heard the self titled demo and realised beneath the poor
production the was something there that I desperately
wanted to be a part of. I remember hearing the
final mix of 21st Century Chaos and realised it was the
greatest thing I had played on so far, I was proud of
what we had achieved on that record". |
